Terms & conditions

Terms of sale for our mixing and mastering services, and legal notice. / Conditions générales de vente et mentions légales.

Last updated: 2 October 2026

These terms apply to every order of a mixing or mastering service placed on teoxaneproduction.com. Please read them before ordering: by placing an order, you accept them. In case of difference between the English and French versions, the French version prevails.

01Who we are

The services are provided by Teoxane, a non-profit association (association loi 1901) registered in France, SIRET 839 689 882 00018, located at 47 rue de l'étang piquart, 51170 Fismes, France. Contact: studio@teoxaneproduction.com. Full details are in the legal notice.

02Definitions

Teoxane
the publisher of teoxaneproduction.com and provider of the services.
Client
any individual or legal entity placing an order on the website.
Website
the website available at teoxaneproduction.com.
Service
an audio mixing and/or mastering service provided by Teoxane.
Order
any purchase of a service made through the website.

03Purpose and acceptance

These terms govern the remote sale of mixing and mastering services by Teoxane through the website. Placing an order implies full acceptance of these terms. The applicable version is the one in force on the date of the order.

04The services

The services, their options (stereo master, stem master, delivery time) and their prices are described on the website at the time of the order. By ordering, the client confirms having read the requirements and timelines of the chosen service.

The client is responsible for providing all the necessary files (mixdown, stems, reference tracks, instructions…) in the formats indicated on the website. Any delay in sending these files extends the delivery time accordingly.

The services are intended for independent artists and labels. Any fraudulent or abusive use may lead to the cancellation of the service without refund, and may be reported to the relevant authorities.

The client acknowledges that mixing and mastering are artistic processes and that the final result partly depends on the quality of the files provided.

05Orders and customer account

Orders are placed online on the website's order page. A customer account is optional: ordering without one is always possible. Once payment is confirmed, the client receives an order confirmation by email, then sends their files through the form shown after payment (or later from the mastering page, with their order number).

Any request to cancel or reschedule an order must be sent as soon as possible to studio@teoxaneproduction.com. An order whose work has started cannot be refunded.

Customer account

Anyone can create a free account from the website. The account is activated once the email address is confirmed through the link we send. It gives access to the client's orders and their status, and later to invoices, purchased content and members features. The client provides accurate details and keeps their password confidential: actions taken with their credentials are deemed to be theirs. The account is personal and cannot be transferred.

The client can delete their account at any time from the account page (Security). Teoxane Production may suspend or delete an account in case of fraud, abuse or breach of these terms, after informing the client except in urgent cases. Deleting an account does not cancel orders already placed, which remain kept for accounting purposes.

06Prices and payment

Prices are shown in euros. As Teoxane is a non-profit association, VAT is not applicable (article 261-7-1° of the French Tax Code): the price shown is the price paid.

Payment is made online, in full, at the time of the order, by card (via Stripe) or PayPal. The service starts only once full payment has been received. Payments are processed by these certified payment providers: Teoxane never sees nor stores card details.

07Delivery time and working days

The delivery time is the one selected at the time of the order. It is counted in working days (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in France) from the approval of the project, that is once the files have been received and checked as ready to be worked on.

Files received after business hours, on a weekend or on a public holiday are processed from the next working day. Teoxane may announce exceptional closures or holiday periods in advance, on the website or by email; delivery times do not run during these periods.

Final files are delivered by email or download link, in WAV 24-bit / 44.1 kHz format unless otherwise agreed (other formats available on request, when technically possible).

Teoxane is not responsible for delivery issues caused by an incorrect email address, an inaccessible or expired download link provided by the client, spam filters or technical issues on the client's side. The client should check their spam folder.

08File retention

Delivered files are kept for 30 days after delivery. After this period, Teoxane does not guarantee their retention or the possibility to send them again. The client is responsible for downloading and backing up their files upon receipt.

09Revisions and complaints

Each service includes one (1) round of revision. Further changes may be charged, at a price agreed before any work.

The client has 7 days after delivery to send any comment, revision request or complaint, within the limits of the ordered service, to studio@teoxaneproduction.com. This does not affect the legal guarantees the client may be entitled to as a consumer.

Teoxane answers any request within 72 business hours (Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays in France).

10Right of withdrawal

Under article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for services fully performed before the end of the withdrawal period when performance started with the consumer's prior express consent and acknowledgement that they lose their right of withdrawal, nor for digital content made to the client's specifications.

When ordering, the client expressly asks for the service to start without waiting for the end of the 14-day withdrawal period, and acknowledges that they lose their right of withdrawal once the service is fully performed. Until the work has started, the client may cancel their order by writing to studio@teoxaneproduction.com.

11Liability and force majeure

Teoxane performs the services according to professional standards. It cannot be held liable for defects resulting from poor-quality or non-compliant files provided by the client. In any event, Teoxane's liability is limited to the amount actually paid by the client for the service concerned.

Teoxane cannot be held liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond its reasonable control (force majeure), such as internet outages, illness or natural disasters.

12Intellectual property and confidentiality

The processed files remain the property of the client. The client guarantees that they hold all rights to the files sent to Teoxane and that these files do not infringe any third-party rights.

All files sent to Teoxane are treated as strictly confidential: they are used only to perform the ordered service, and are never shared with third parties without the client's written consent.

Teoxane may use an excerpt of the work (two minutes maximum, never the full track) to promote its expertise, unless the client objects in writing. Teoxane never distributes complete works.

13Personal data

The data collected is needed to process orders and is never sold. How it is used, who receives it, how long it is kept and how to exercise your rights are described in our privacy policy.

14Changes, evidence, governing law

Teoxane may modify these terms at any time; the version applicable to an order is the one in force on the date of that order. The data recorded by Teoxane's systems and by its payment and service providers serves as evidence of communications, orders and payments between the parties.

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first seek an amicable solution. Failing that, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts. If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the other provisions remain in force.
